North Korea...Are They A Threat?

The Associated Press is reporting that North Korea is threatening to attack U.S. warships.
The Stalinist regime said it could no longer promise the safety of U.S. and South Korean warships and civilian vessels in the waters near the Korea’s western maritime border
“Now that the South Korean puppets were so ridiculous as to join in the said racket and dare declare a war against compatriots,” North Korea is “compelled to take a decisive measure,” the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea said in a statement carried by state media.
The Stalinist regime said it could no longer promise the safety of U.S. and South Korean warships and civilian vessels in the waters near the Korea’s western maritime border, according to reports.
North Korea has bolstered its live artillery fire exercises and fighter jet training near the western sea border with South Korea since it declared an “all-out confrontational posture” against the South in January. North Korea is said to have deployed thousands of weapons hidden in mountain caves and tunnels near the inter-Korean border. The artillery puts South Korea’s capital area within target range, according to The Korea Times.
On May 25, North Korea conducted a nuclear test in violation of U.N. violation of Resolution 1718.
On March 9, South Korea and the United States kicked off their annual joint military exercises on despite strong oppositions by North Korea. According to the Chosun Daily, 26,000 U.S. troops and over 50,000 South Korean troops will participate in the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle exercise all over South Korea, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
It is unknown if the USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier and a total of seven U.S. Aegis destroyers that participated in the joint exercise are still in the area.

The White House says North Korea's threats against South Korea will not give it the attention Pyongyang wants and will only add to its isolation.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Wednesday that North Korea should live up to its promises and stop its provocations against the South.
Pyongyang says Seoul's decision to join an international nuclear anti-proliferation program is tantamount to a declaration of war. The North warned of military strikes and declared their 1953 armistice null and void.
Gibbs says North Korea has threatened to end the armistice many times in past decades but the peace has held.

The US Supreme Court says FBI Director Robert Mueller and ex-Attorney General John Aschcroft cannot be sued by a former 9/11 detainee for alleged abuse.
The justices on Monday reversed a lower court ruling that had allowed a lawsuit brought by Javaid Iqbal to go forward.
Mr Iqbal, from Pakistan, argued the two officials were responsible for a policy that saw him singled out for abuse on the basis of his religion and race.
The court ruled that his complaint failed to back up this claim.
Mr Iqbal spent some six months in solitary confinement in a federal prison in Brooklyn in 2002.
In his lawsuit, he said he had suffered physical and verbal abuse and had been singled out for mistreatment because of ethnic and religious discrimination.
The government argued that there was nothing to link Mr Mueller and Mr Ashcroft to the alleged abuse of Mr Iqbal.

I am tired of the same sad shit that gets pushed on the big-screen. Wolverine was soo bad, I felt like I was watching a live photo-journal of his history. I didn't learn anything knew besides what you can do with a green screen. The movie lacked substance.
I walked out the theater with the same feeling I had after lunch in fifth grade, hungrey and twenty-cents broker. But, this time I lost ten bucks, well my mom did she paid for it.
I just got through watching Sex, Lies and Videotape. Dir. Steven Soderbergh (Oceans 11 guy) who started his career as far left from hollywood as possiable. The tagged art/house film. The type of films you see at blockbuster with only two copies and a old lady sweatin like she's been in a hot tub for five hours over it.

These films tackle topics of substance, not really F.Y.E but it entertains ideas that revolve around human nature. Well, that is my working definition...you tell me yours if you got one better.

So now we have facetsmovies.com the Netflix-like but this time for the movies not so common, over 65,000 copies in there library so far.
